Digital Signal Processor for Handheld RFID Reader
Benetka, Miroslav ; Zamazal, Michal (referee) ; Šebesta, Jiří (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with design and realization of a module for a digital signal procesor, for handheld RFID reader working in UHF band. It utilises a special chip EM4298 for RFID signals processing. Module is controlled by the microcontroller ATmega32L, which communicates with the PC through USB bus. Settings in EM4298 is made by a service program which processes received identifying data obtained from tags. Source codes for microcontroller are created in AVR Studio 4.13 program. Source codes for microcontroller are created in C++ Builder 6.0 program. Further thing is Desing and realization of analog interface and a UHF transceiver for wireless communication with tags. A Webench program was used for the analog interface design, which is freely available on the internet. For verification of parameters of the analog interface it was used PSpice 10.0 program. The UHF transceiver is build-up with a MAX2903 chip (transmitter) and AD8347 (receiver) and transmitting and receiving antennae.

The study also describes the principle functions of RFID readers and the list of frequencies at which the technology works. The next section is dedicated to the design of the access system with iClass R10 operating at a frequency of 13.56 MHz, the whole system is controlled by a microprocessor ATmega8. The board design is described program for creating electronic schematics EAGLE. The try-out functionality and basic programming functions used kit EVB 4.3 The last section describes the procedure for the production of printed circuit boards photo path including drawings and schemes and also describes the program controlling the entire device using the block diagram.
RFID Security
Hanačík, Radim ; Morský, Ondřej (referee) ; Martinásek, Zdeněk (advisor)
The thesis describes the theory of radio frequency identification and is focused on the security of communication. Smart cards are divided by type of chip and operating frequencies. The thesis is focused on contactless cards based on the Mifare Classic and on a description and construction of the emulator, which is able to demonstrate the production defects. We can make a copy of the card using the emulator. Laboratory task was designed and implemented demonstrating the communication between cards.
Automated verification of aircraft satellite antenna's targeting function
Hradílek, Ondřej ; Kohoutek, Michal (referee) ; Polsterová, Helena (advisor)
This diploma thesis provides an overview and basic principles of satellite communication systems. Further is description of specific aerial satellite communication system ARINC 791. The practical part includes proposals of the system for automated verification targeting functionality of an air satellite antenna, which has been carried out in Honeywell laboratory conditions. The selected implementation is realized and used for automated verification targeting functionality of an air satellite antenna. The results are graphically evaluated.
RFID chips reader with AVR microcontroller
Vaníček, Aleš ; Daněček, Vít (referee) ; Šilhavý, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis deals with design and practical realization of a simple reader module, RFID chips. In the first part of the thesis focuses on the theory of RFID system, which tries to outline the basic principles of automatic identification of goods or persons using RFID. The second part is focused on the implementation of a device that operates at 13.56 MHz HF band, and supports the standards ISO 14443 and ISO 14443B.
RFID chip reader controlled by AVR microcontroller
Pál, Tamás ; Daněček, Vít (referee) ; Šilhavý, Pavel (advisor)
This project deals with the problem of RFID readers. Analyzes properties and operating principles of RFID technology and implementation of RFID data carrier type. The first section describes the various methods of storing identification data, and compares them. The second part emphasizes the implementation of a specific RFID reader. It explains the various parts and characteristics of their associated components. The third part describes the realization process of the RFID reader, based on the previous plans.
Automatic Data Recording of Digital Satellite Broadcast
Řezníček, Ivo ; Matějka, Pavel (referee) ; Szőke, Igor (advisor)
This work aims at the creation of a~system of massive recording of multimedia data, especially speech data in various languages. The first issue is to find out high quality data source, the second is to build the system for managing and storing received data in the digital form. A digital satellite transmission is chosen as a signal source (DVB-S system). Main system features include recording of multiple streams in parallel, support of multiple cards, retrieving and storing of additional information (from Internet) and scheduling of recordings. The system will provide massive amounts of data for training of a language identification system.
RFID Reader for 13.56 MHz Band
Using of RFID new eguipments
Štěpánek, Samo ; Vojáček, Zdeněk (referee) ; Lacko, Branislav (advisor)
Bachelor thesis focuses on RFID technology and its potential uses in healthcare. Thesis includes theoretical basis for processing the subject, analysis of the current use of RFID in healthcare in Czech Republic and the world, the requirements for the application of technology and proposal of RFID technology instrument for usage in healthcare.
Solid State Power Amplifier for the L-Band
Pecen, Vojtěch ; Vondra, Vlastimil (referee) ; Kasal, Miroslav (advisor)
The goal of this diploma's thesis is to create a design of a two stages amplifier working in a band reserved for the secondary surveillance radar at the frequency of 1090 MHz. Output power of the amplifier should be 20 W and efficiency should be as high as possible. Because of this the second stage is designed in class C. Contents of this diploma's thesis include a theoretical analysis, simulations of the amplifier parameters, comparison of the Ansys Designer and AWR Microwave Office simulation programs and design of both stages of the amplifier, followed by a comparison of the measured parameters with the simulations.
